Lim Nyuk Shan (Shan) draws inspiration from the spontaneity of life and her interactions with diverse cultures. Her transition into the arts from a background in IT has deepened her awareness of the present and inspired her to explore themes of reflection and impermanence through painting.

Shan approaches her practice to capture fleeting moments—those that are, in their way, once in a lifetime. She participates in community art projects and facilitates creative workshops, believing in the power of art to connect people across different backgrounds.
